A Note from C.L. Parker…

I first became acquainted with C.L. Parker last December when I read the first two books in the Supernova trilogy. I loved her writing, and her characters…especially Dominic Grayson… I immediately added him to my fantasy boyfriends. I am honored to share the note she sent for our blogiversary…

Hiya Tamie!

I know most of your authors are doing a little something special regarding their books for your blogiversary, but I really wanted to take this opportunity to send a special note to YOU.

Sometimes I think bloggers and readers don’t know how crucial it is for authors to have the exposure reviews and blog posts provide. As an avid reader myself, I know that a good review of a book has all the potential of selling me on it. Especially if it’s from a reviewer I trust. Additionally, your reviews let us know that we’re doing something right or let us know that there’s something more we can work on. We should always grow with every word we write, and we never expect every review to be outstanding because there’s a whole array of tastes in the literary world. You have a real knack for pulling out the best attributes of a book and showcasing it for the rest of us to devour.

So, I’d like to thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for not only myself, but for all the authors you showcase on a daily basis. You’ve managed to keep us informed and thoroughly entertained over the past year, introducing us to new authors and incredible stories we might have otherwise missed out on. A lot of time and forethought goes into your blog, and it shows. You need to know how very much that’s appreciated. It’s bloggers like you that make our job – if you want to call it a job – even more of a blessing.

Your brain should be caressed by Drew, your lips tenderly kissed by Dante, and your body pressed against a wall by Dominic. The triple Ds come out in full force when your name is on the tip of my tongue. They’re long, strong, and the things they want to do to you are oh, so wrong, but I really don’t think you’ll complain. They are my gift to you. It’s the least I can do for all that you’ve done for me. Just make sure you return them in one piece. We’ll let their women worry about the cleanup
