Normally on Sunday mornings I post a topic from 18 and Over, but sadly the host has decided to put that feature on hiatus for a while.

So for now on Sunday’s I’ll share some of my favorite book boyfriends in a different way…this week…the paranormals…

As far as my paranormal book boyfriends go these are who I’d most like to…

Excite beyond words? This honor would have to go to Jericho Barrons from the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. Barrons is…well…we don’t know exactly what the hell he is. We do know he has some kind of immortality, and he can change into something not human. When he’s in his man form however he’s all Alpha male in the extreme. Tall, dark, and handsome with a body made for naughtiness would be a fairly accurate description. He’s the owner of a bookstore in Dublin, and how could someone like me not love someone like that? He intrigued me from book one in the series and if anything that only grew with each book. I may not know what he is…but I’m ok with that…keeps things from ever being boring. Trying to excite Barrons beyond words…yeah…I’ll take that challenge any day.

Spend a week with? Rhage from Lover Eternal (the Black Dagger Brotherhood series) by J.R. Ward is described in this way. “He’s the vampire with the strongest appetites. He’s the best fighter, the quickest to act on his impulses,” and…are you ready for it?!? “The most voracious lover.” I think a week with him would be amazing…exhausting, but amazing. It’s hard to pick a favorite brother for me, but Rhage aka Hollywood is one who always comes to mind.

Love for a lifetime? Bones from the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost is undeniably a Vamp with attitude. He’s also fiercely possessive, snarky as all get out and charmingly witty. His hotness quotient is boosted by both his carnal sexuality and his gift of injecting humour into situations that any mortal man would run screaming from…good thing Bones isn’t mortal, so our lifetime together would last as long as I did. BTW…did I mention he does pretty well in the romance department? So yeah, Bones is my lifetime guy in the paranormal world.

Which paranormal guys would you like to know better?
